About Me

Prior to finding my way to Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy to study and become a therapist, I had graduated from Western University with an Honors Specialization in Psychology. I have worked in harm reduction, trans healthcare, youth psychoeducation, and wilderness therapy.

I have 10+ years experience supporting queer and trans communities in various settings including facilitating peer support groups, supporting folks through medical transition, and organizing community events.

When not practicing therapy, you can find me climbing trees as an arborist, camping in the woods, or reading a good book.

Why choose to work with me?

We are all connected, like the mycelium of mushrooms. Relational psychotherapy suggests that our pain often happen in relationships, but that healing also takes place in the context of relationships. The relationship we build as a therapist and client is an opportunity for just such healing.

We can work together to understand your own patterns of thoughts and feelings about yourself. We can explore the power of significant relationships, past and present, that shape your self-experience. Through therapy, we can strengthen and transform your sense of self, which in turn enhances your confidence and well-being in the world.
